Concussion Awareness
At Pinner RFC, we take concussion seriously. We follow the RFU’s HEADCASE programme, which is designed to improve understanding and awareness around concussion—how to prevent it, how to recognise the signs, and how to manage it safely.
HEADCASE is one of the UK’s leading resources for concussion education, and forms an essential part of our commitment to player welfare.
All of our coaches have completed the RFU’s Headcase Concussion Awareness Training, ensuring they are equipped to act appropriately when a head injury is suspected.
Our guiding principle is clear:
If in doubt, sit them out.
