Parents

• As a parent, your involvement in your child’s rugby journey can have a lasting impact. Here's how you can support both your child and the club:

• Connect with the Club Safeguarding Officer (CSO): Introduce yourself and your child. Share any relevant care or support needs, medical issues, allergies, and ensure the CSO has up-to-date contact and emergency details.

• Be present: Your presence at training sessions and matches makes a real difference. It encourages your child and helps foster a strong sense of community at the club.

• Know your responsibilities: Familiarise yourself with the club’s safeguarding policies and understand your role in keeping rugby a safe space for all children.

Whether you're coaching, helping on match day, or supporting behind the scenes, volunteers are essential to grassroots rugby.
