Afternoon all,

Wow what a weekend for all those old codgers who turned up for the Presidents lunch last Saturday, not sure about anyone else but I've only just recovered !

Big thanks to Skelly for getting 60 people to attend, to Caroline and Ash behind the bar and Phil Martin for picking some nice wine, all in all a very pleasant afternoon. Also many thanks to Peter Hudspeth and Dave Hiles for putting out the tables, and to Dave for being President (4 more years)

Sadly for those of you that braved the elements the 1st team put up a brave fight but eventually lost to West London 5-22 despite it being a good game to watch. Chin up Charlie and all, keep positive and play for each other.

This weekend there is no game due to the Six Nations but the club will be open to watch England v Ireland which kicks off at 16.45 so come on down and watch the game.

The next league match for the 1st team is on Saturday 9th February away to Uxbridge with the 2nd team playing away to Beaconsfield.

The next home game for the 1st team is on the 16th Feb at home to Mill Hill

Come on England !!

Robin, Pinner RFC
