Morning All,
Almost at the end of the week and just sending the score from last Friday- apologies !
There were no 1st or 2nd team games last week but Skellies Vets played on the Friday against Old Isleworthians and managed a solid 14-7 win, well done boys and many thanks to Liam and Lee and all the volunteers who helped prepare the bottom pitch to be playable - super stuff everyone, sandcastles on Sunday.
This weekend we have two games at home with the 1st team playing a local derby against Uxbridge and the 2nd's playing a localish derby against Beaconsfield, with many thanks to Laney for volunteering to do the teas - we still want more volunteers you know you want to!!!
As you are all hopefully aware Dave Hiles reaches the youthful age of 80 on the 27th October and to celebrate he is hosting a Golden Oldies match with BBQ and beer on SUNDAY 4TH NOV, all are welcome and for those that haven't donned a pair of boots in a while the Golden Oldies is an ideal opportunity to have a 5/10/15 or 20 minute run out with no tackling !! If you are inspired to play and celebrate DAVE'S 80th contact Phil Skelton on p.skelton2005@btinternet.com
Good luck on Saturday everyone
Regards, Robin Pinner RFC
