Just a very big thank you to all who contributed to the very special and memorable day last Sunday. Special thanks to Phil for managing the players, Mark and the guys on the BBQ, Caroline and Aisling behind the Bar, everyone who played, Bob Lawless [President MCRFU], Clive Roberts [Finchley RFC] who refereed and to Andy, David Geshlick [ Old Vulgarians], and our friends from Holland for kind words and presentations. I am afraid that I was too overcome with emotion to say all that I had planned for. My thanks too for the presents [mainly alcoholic], the cards and warm greetings.
From the comments that I have received from other clubs, Middlesex CRFU members and guests from all over plus many who would have liked to have been there but couldn't for various reasons, Pinner has enhanced its reputation as a very social grass-roots club. I now hope for a good turnout for the President's Lunch on 26th January.
